Meet the Team
The People Behind North Aurora Air & Heating
One of the most common things new customers tell us is that they finally found an HVAC company where they talk to the same people every time. That consistency matters. When you know the team working on your system, there’s context that carries over — we remember what equipment you have, what issues have come up before, and what approach has worked best for your home.
Kyson Castro — Manager
Kyson Castro runs North Aurora Air & Heating with a hands-on approach, handling everything from routine maintenance to complex HVAC installations. He works directly with customers on diagnostics, system replacements, and seasonal tune-ups, making sure jobs are done right the first time without unnecessary upsells or delays.
Kyson keeps his schedule organized and his response times tight, which matters to customers dealing with heating or cooling issues that can’t wait. He stays current on equipment and industry standards, and he takes pride in giving straightforward assessments so people know exactly what they need and what it will cost before any work begins.
After nearly two decades serving the Aurora area, Kyson has worked on just about every type of residential HVAC system in the region — from older homes in the historic neighborhoods near downtown Aurora to newer construction in the surrounding suburbs. That breadth of experience means faster, more accurate diagnosis and fewer surprises on the job.
Certifications & Qualifications
HVAC work involves electrical systems, gas lines, refrigerant handling, and combustion equipment — all of which have safety and legal requirements. Our certifications aren’t just credentials for marketing; they reflect the legal and technical standards required to do this work properly and safely in Illinois.
- EPA 608 Certified (refrigerant handling)
- NATE-certified technician training
- Licensed HVAC contractor — State of Illinois
- Experience with all major brands: Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, York, Bryant, Goodman
- Residential and light commercial systems
We stay current with changes in HVAC technology, including new refrigerant regulations (the transition away from R-22 and the phase-down of R-410A), energy efficiency standards, and evolving heat pump technology. When we recommend a product or approach, it’s based on what’s actually current — not what we happen to have on the truck.
Working Hours
HVAC problems don’t follow a 9-to-5 schedule, so we don’t either. Our extended hours mean that a furnace that stops working on a Saturday evening or an air conditioner that gives out on a hot Sunday afternoon isn’t a situation you have to just sit with until Monday morning.
| Monday – Friday | 6:00 am – 11:00 pm |
| Saturday – Sunday | 7:00 am – 10:30 pm |
Call us at (331) 373-5615 during business hours, or send a message online and we’ll get back to you promptly.
How We Show Up for Customers
Technical skill matters, but so does how a technician conducts themselves in your home or business. These are the standards we hold ourselves to on every job:
- Arriving on time and calling ahead when running late
- Explaining issues in plain language before starting repairs
- Wearing shoe covers and cleaning up after the job
- Following up when parts need to be ordered
- Being available for questions after the work is done
We’ve built our reputation in the Aurora area one service call at a time. The goal is always the same: leave the customer in a better situation than we found them, with a clear understanding of what was done and why. Reach out to schedule service or ask a question.
